SYMBOL OF NEPAL is the most latest album of Sur Sudha.Sur Sudha
are comprised of Prem Rana on Flute, Tara Bir Tuladhar on Sitar and
Surendra Shrestha on Tabla. Mr. Surendra Shrestha is the founder of
Sur Sudha in 1984 A.D.
These three musicians joined forces 19 years ago with
the aim of interpreting and presenting the myriad musical traditional
of Nepal in the country and the to the world. thet have continued to
seek out traditions tunes from the many remote areas of Nepal, from
the Terai, or Lowerlands, to the villages high in the Himalayas for
Nepal. They have played over 200 concerts, travelling from the steps
of ancient Hindu temples to the concert stage of Europe, India , Japan
and the U.S.A.And also performed many times to the Royal Palace as Royal
Musician of the country.
THE THIRD EYE was released in Sri Lanka. The
Third Eye-the symbol of enlightenment- is the name of a new CD by Sur
Sudha, the internationally known musical ambassadors of Nepal. The Third
Eye is an amalgam of religion, Culture and the universal message of
peace. It represents Buddhism and Lumbini the birthplace of Lord Buddha.
The Third Eye covers all aspects of Buddhism being practiced in Nepal
and outside.
